Tiverton is set to host the exhilarating Exe Valley Triathlon on Sunday, May 12th, 2024, inviting athletes of all skill levels to challenge themselves in the picturesque Exe Valley. The event, known for its welcoming atmosphere to novices and seasoned competitors alike, will feature two distances: the Sprint and the Novice, catering to varying levels of experience and ability.

The competition kicks off at the Tiverton Leisure Centre, where participants will start their day with a swim in the facility's pool. For the Sprint distance, athletes will tackle a 400m swim, a 25km bike ride, and finish with a 5km run. Those looking for a slightly less demanding challenge can opt for the Novice distance, which includes a 200m swim, an 18km bike, and a 3km run. Adding an exciting twist to the event, the Sprint distance can also be entered as a relay by teams of three, with each member taking on one segment of the triathlon.
