A black and white cat, now a frequent visitor to the Tesco in Cullompton, was once again seen wandering the store around 10 p.m., adding another chapter to its ongoing adventures in the aisles.
The curious feline has made multiple appearances at the supermarket in recent days, and while its strolls through the store have amused many, the cat’s visits are not without a bit of added mystery – and perhaps a touch of inconvenience. Tesco staff have attempted to contact the cat’s owner, but so far, no luck. With the owner unreachable, the cat seems free to continue its occasional evening escapades.
The repeat visits have sparked conversation among locals, with several amused by the cat’s confident wanderings. However, a few shoppers have noticed a lingering smell in certain areas of the store and have speculated that the cat might have left more than just a charming impression behind.
For now, the identity of the black and white cat – and its motives for the late-night Tesco excursion – remain unknown.
